In recent years, under the requirements of environmental protection and resource conservation, most of the paper packages used for tobacco, alcohol, food, daily necessities, etc. are made by the method of transfer, which is to transfer an aluminized coating with a laser effect to form an aluminized paper with a metallic luster on the paper-based surface, and the UV laser transfer coating is produced in this case.

UV laser transfer coating is a transfer film that can be created with a three-dimensional effect with a strong laser pattern by using ultraviolet laser transfer paint composition. Specifically, layers of the transferred thermoplastic coating are applied before the UV coating is applied. Taking advantage of the ease with which thermoplastic coatings are transferred, UV coatings are cured by light curing during the molding process. Therefore, ultraviolet laser transfer coating has the advantages of ultraviolet coating molding when molding, and has the characteristics of good peeling of traditional transfer thermoplastic coating when transferring. So how to choose UV laser transfer coatings?
1. Look at floating objects
Any good quality usually has no floats on the surface of the protective gel solution and there are almost no floating color particles, which is normal.
2. Look at the aqueous solution
After the paint has been stored for a certain period of time, the pattern particles in it will sink and it will be covered with a layer of protective glue. Typically, it accounts for about 1/4 of the total amount of colored paint. For high-quality color coatings, the protective adhesive solution is colorless or slightly yellow and transparent.
3. Check the sale price
Conventional manufacturers produce high-quality UV laser transfer coatings at moderate prices according to the formulation, in the production of poor-quality colored paints, the cost is low, and the selling price is much cheaper than good-quality colored paints.
In addition, the shelf life of UV laser transfer coatings is usually two years, and some brands do not indicate an expiration date on the packaging, only the production date, which should be carefully determined when purchasing.
